Not long ago the only tattoo you would see on an actor was done by a makeup artist for the movie they were in. It would be unheard of for an actor (or up and coming actor), to get a tattoo. Thankfully, times have changed, and advances in digital technology (and makeup) have made it possible for actors to get real tattoos.
That is why we have put together our list of our favorite Actors tattoos. So you can see what Hollywood tries to hide, and admire some of these actors' great ink. Our list has all types of tattoos, on all types of actors, female and male, so there will be something for everyone.

10: Ruby Rose
Australian actress Ruby Rose is straight up blasted, she has over 50 tattoos and couldn't think of a better actor start off our list. Not only is she an actress, but also a model, proving that tattoos add to one's beauty.
9: Dwayne Johnson
Dwayne Johnson's tattoos really "Rock". But now that he is a serious actor, don't call him that, or he'll lay the "Smack Down". All puns aside, Dwayne Johnson does have some very nice tattoos, highlighted by his Polynesian tribal half sleeve / chest piece.
8: Pete Davidson
Pete Davidson is the poster boy of not overthinking what to get tattooed, and just getting it. The results are varied, but it hasn't hurt his luck with the ladies. Apparently confidence is attractive. News is he is getting them removed, let's just hope it is because he wants to make room for new tattoo ideas.
7: Olivia Wilde
Olivia Wilde is a fan of fine line tattoos, like the constellation tattoos below for her kids. Fine line tattoos are a great choice for actors because they are much easier to cover up. So if you are an aspiring actor, don't worry about a getting a few fine line tattoos, just go "Wilde".
6: Scarlett Johansson
Scarlett Johansson has a sneaky large amount of tattoos. It just shows how good Hollywood is at hiding tattoos on the silver screen. One our favorite tattoos on Scarlett is the rose tattoo going up her back below.
5: Jason Momoa
Who ever thought tattoos would help you get "ahead" in Hollywood? For Jason Momoa his tattoos are usually part of the characters he plays, even those characters that live "under da sea" like Aquaman. Jason proves that getting the tattoos you want doesn't hurt your persona, it enhances it.
4: Zoe Kravitz
Momoa's stepdaughter and actress Zoe Kravitz also has some very nice tattoos. These are mostly small tattoos done in the pactchwork style, a tattoo style that is has recently been making a resurgence.
3: Johnny Depp
Johnny also has patchwork style tattoos, and a lot of them. One of the OG actors with tattoos, Johnny Depp has been adding tattoos to his collection for decades. Proving that celebrities are just like all of us other ink-oholics out there.
2: Angelina Jolie
Angelina Jolie is also fairly heavily tattooed. She has tattoos of many different styles, done all around the world, including a back tattoo that was done by a monk. An actress that likes to travel and get tattooed during said travels... talk about the whole package.
1: Shia Labeouf
Like him or not, Mr. Labeouf is straight up committed to his roles. The chest piece and finger tattoos below were all done for his role in the movie Tax Collector. And, they are not fake movie tattoos, they are all real! How could this crazy SOB not be at the top of our list, an actor that got real tattoos (that don't look half bad), for about 15 minutes of screen time.
